About the Club
Formed in 1979, Macleay Valley Rangers FC have been one of the most successful clubs in senior football along the coast. MVR was a previous member of the Coffs Harbour competition and has enjoyed returning north over the last two seasons.
This season will see an exciting combination of youth and experience within the squad, as many of our juniors progress into senior football.
Head Coach Jason Coleman
Jason Coleman has been involved with football for a lengthy 23 years as a spectator (of four children who all play football), assistant and coach at different levels. Starting at the grass roots and working with juniors for 15 years before making the step up into the senior roles for the past 3 years. This year Jason has been appointed head coach of the CPL first grade team for Macleay Valley Rangers and is looking forward to the coaching role and the season ahead. Jason likes to take a positive approach to his coaching and is excited to see what the 2022 season brings for himself and his team.
Captain Troy Ward
Troy has 10 years of first grade experience and prides himself on his leadership and hard work. Going into his first year of captaining the club he is looking forward to the challenges of another CPL season.
