About the Club
Coffs Coast Tigers Football club, formerly know as Westlawn Tigers was established on the Coffs Coast in 1977. After playing at York St and Jetty oval they finally found their home in Polwarth Dr. Situated in the beautiful hills of West Coffs Harbour for the past 20 years, the club boasts some of the best facilities in the North Coast Zone.
The club offers a fully inclusive and positive playing experience to males and females, ranging from 5years to adults. We offer diversity and acceptance to all nationalities and players of all abilities. We are a family friendly club and are excited to offer a pathway to play at the highest level, through our acceptance into the Coastal League Competition.
With a strong group of young players coming through the ranks into our senior squads in recent years, the club is excited to build on its strengths and are looking forward to seeing what the future offers to football across the zone.
Head Coach Luke Stow
Born in Newcastle, I started playing football at the age of 4 and played till I was 11. At the age of 12 I moved to Coffs Harbour and started playing.
I have played Premier League Football from the age of 16 until 2017 when I decided to move into coaching Reserve Grade, after having coached many junior teams whilst playing.
Now 2021 has given me the opportunity to coach the Coffs Coast Tigers CPL Premier League team. I am excited with the challenge ahead. My passion for the game has always been strong but has grown even stronger now from coaching.
As a strong Liverpool supporter my philosophy for my players is “You only get out of it what you put in”.
Captain Luke Kliendienst:
Luke has lived in Coffs Harbour his whole life, where he played a wide range of sporting codes from the ages of 7-14, including Rugby League, from there his Uncle converted Luke to playing soccer and Tigers shot stopper has not looked back since.
Luke has played in multiple positions for the club, but since moving into Seniors most of the time has been as goalkeeper. “This is my first year with the honour of captaining the side, and I am very eager to be a role model for the existing players of our club, as well as the young talented boys who have joined us this year from the NPL,” said Luke.
