THE Coastal League One Women season continues with mid-week matches on Wednesday night in Coffs Harbour and Toormina.
The Coffs City United Lionesses host the Boambee Bombers at Forsyth Park in Round 11.
The Lionesses had last weekend off with the bye, while the Bombers are coming off a dominant 6-1 victory against the Sawtell Scorpions.
It will be the first time the Lionesses and Eagles have played off this season.
Boambee Eagles coach Neil Witherdin said a number of Eagles players had stepped up to the premier league in recent weeks.
“Six of our first 11 were out against the Sawtell Scorpions, but we’ve had some 2nd division and over 30s players come up for us, and they did well” he said.
“We haven’t had a game this season with our best 11 on the field, and it’s been very different this year.”
The Sawtell Scorpions host the Urunga Raiders in their Round 11 match at Toormina Oval.
The two clubs are at the opposite ends of the ladder, as the Raiders go for their seventh straight win to start the season, while the Scorpions search for their first.
The Raiders were 7-0 victors the last time the two teams played.
