A TOP of the table encounter between the Coffs City United Lions and Bellingen FC headlines the latest round of the Coastal Premier League this weekend.
The two-time defending premiers Lions take on the new kids on the block with Bellingen FC playing in their first CPL season.
The Lions and Bellingen play off for top spot with both sides having made stellar starts to the season.
The Lions sit at the top of the ladder having won their first six games of the season, while Bellingen won their first five matches of the season before their first loss.
Boambee FC are at home to the fourth-placed Port Saints in Round 8, with the Bombers coming off a 4-3 loss to the Lions in which they pushed the ladder ladders all the way.
Coffs Coast Tigers will try to consolidate their place in the top four when they travel to take on the Kempsey Saints, with the Tigers having beaten top four sides Bellingen FC and Southern United in their past two matches.
Sawtell Scorpions are also away from home in Round 8 as they take on Port United at Dixie Park.
Northern Storm will look to kickstart their season as they make the trip to face Southern United.
Round 8 also sees the Taree Wildcats playing host to the Macleay Valley Rangers.
