The NSW Government today extended the lockdown in regional New South Wales by six days.
If the situation with the pandemic improves or stabilises, the NSW Government may end the lockdown in some parts of regional NSW at midnight on Friday, 27 August 2021, allowing football to be played on and from Saturday, 28 August 2021.
Coastal Premier League (CPL) today released plans for the resumption of football, superseding plans released earlier in the week.
CPL will resume on Saturday, 28 August 2021, with three first grade and three reserve grade matches postponed earlier in the season. The resumption is one day earlier than under one of the previous plans.
On Wednesday, 1 September 2021, there will be a full round of first grade matches only.
There will be further catch-up matches on Saturday, 4 September 2021 – two in first grade and two in reserve grade.
Two semi finals are on 11 September 2021, and the grand final will be at C.ex Coffs International Stadium on Saturday, 18 September 2021.
